If you have come here for a laugh - I hope you are satisfied!

While clearing up a while ago I came across these two photographs taken many years apart!

I can still remember going to Mr Philips (the photographer) who was a neighbour - (better still I remember his daughter, Judith) - he had set up a studio in his back living room.

Here's how we turned out! (A recent photo taken at my niece's wedding)

This 'Fancy Dress' one was taken during the rehearsals for a semi-staged production of Eugene Onegin in January 1996 at the Arts Centre in the University of Warwick. click for full size image

This is me at work.

Choral

I've been singing with University of Warwick Chorus , since 1990 with whom I've had the good fortune to sing Requiems by Verdi, Brahms, Berlioz, Mozart & Faure, Concert performances of Eugene Onegin & Carmen, Tippet's 'A Child of Our Time', Orff's 'Carmina Burana', Beethoven's Choral Symphony (9th), Mahler's 8th (Symphony of a Thousand), Walton's 'Belshazars Feast', plus many other pieces by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven etc......

One of the most memorable concerts being a performance of the Berlioz Requiem in Dortmund along with singers from Amiens, Hiroshima, Krakau, Nowosibirsk, Rotterdam, Tel Aviv, Usti nad Labem and Yale.

On the lighter side I've been involved in productions of 'South Pacific', Sondheim's 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' and 'Frogs', a special concert performance of 'Les Miserables' in aid of Kidney Cancer UK, 'The Gondoliers' & 'HMS Pinafore'
