I've been singing with
University of Warwick Chorus
, since 1990
with whom I've had the good fortune to sing Requiems by Verdi, Brahms,
Berlioz, Mozart & Faure, Concert performances of Eugene Onegin &
Carmen, Tippet's 'A Child of Our Time', Orff's 'Carmina Burana', Beethoven's Choral Symphony
(9th), Mahler's 8th (Symphony of a Thousand), Walton's 'Belshazars
Feast', plus many other pieces by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven etc......
One of the most memorable concerts being a performance of the Berlioz Requiem in Dortmund along
with singers from Amiens, Hiroshima, Krakau, Nowosibirsk, Rotterdam, Tel Aviv, Usti nad Labem and Yale.
On the lighter side I've been involved in productions of 'South Pacific', Sondheim's 'A Funny Thing
Happened on the Way to the Forum' and 'Frogs', a special concert performance of 'Les Miserables'
in aid of Kidney Cancer UK, 'The Gondoliers' & 'HMS Pinafore'
